Take Hawaiʻi Home began in the aftermath of Hurricane Lowell.
As Kauaʻi began the work of cleaning up and recovering, another challenge quickly became clear. Visitors were staying away, trips were being postponed, and many of the small businesses that depend on tourism were suddenly facing a drop in sales.
These are the makers, artists, restaurants and small businesses behind so much of what makes Kauaʻi special.
And supporting them doesn't require a plane ticket.
